Daryl Irvine: The design department of Chameleon Net is finally global!
This month I have had one designer (Daniel) in Berlin and one on extended holiday in the US (Barney) both still available and rearing to go. I work from home on occasion so interacting with them on IM (instant messenger) is no big deal but when you go days without bumping into them in the office whilst projects chug along towards completion it starts to sink in that you are actually collaborating across the globe. When the people you are collaborating with usually sit a metre from you this is even more evident.

Kel Miah: Looking at a website through the eyes of a “petrol head”
Not all of us SEOers are computer geeks; some of us have other passions in life too. As a self confessed petrol head I like to, or tend to compare everything to cars. So here is how I would describe a website from a car viewpoint.

Chris Kanu: Speaking the "local" lingo
So, this time 3 months ago I thought “CMS” was the name of an IT company based in North London (incidentally the last place I worked!), “PPC” was the Public-Private Coalition, “E-marketing” was something you definitely wouldn’t tell the police you did, and “Hosting”… well that was obviously hosting – what you do (with varying levels of success) when your friends or family come round for dinner.

Donna Adams: A day in the life... Of an Online Marketing Exec

It is my first week with ChameleonNet and after reading about a Google employee putting Google in the firing line with a few opinionated blog entries I find myself approaching this post with much trepidation

My first week with ChameleonNet has been great; I’ve downloaded all industry standard messaging tools, RSS feeds and the essential Firefox extensions (that ColorfulTabs one is the best!) onto my shiny new lap top, improved my foosball game ten-fold, wagged my chin with adobe, channel four and the cream of the new media crop, and have delved ankle deep into ChameleonNet’s revolutionary Electronic PR (EPR) offering.

I have been working in New Media for 14 Months; I come to Chameleon as a Google Approved Professional and a Bid Management Tool Champion. In my role as Online Marketing Exec I work across PPC and SEO analysing websites and data and recommending web strategies to clients.  In addition to my marketing knowledge I am also a proficient web designer, building in html, CSS and Flash.

I’ll be keeping my eye on industry trends, news and the latest tools and hope to be sharing my findings with you on this blog.

I am sure that this first post isn’t as controversial as the Google blog, though I wouldn't want to be too opinionated, at least whilst I'm still new to the company!
