Vicky Reeves - Managing Director

Vicky Reeves

Vicky founded the company and is both commercially astute and technically skilled, running the company and getting involved in projects in equal measures.

Prior to starting Chameleon Net she worked for larger IT companies like Alcatel (a multi-national telecoms company), EDS (a large systems integrator) and iCAT (an e-commerce software developer), and holds an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.

Vicky is an avid networker and has won a series of entrepreneur awards. She was voted 'Best Woman in Technology' (small business category) at the 2006 Women in Technology Awards, sponsored by BlackBerry.

Chris Thorn - Operations Director

Chris Thorn

Chris has been with Chameleon since its infancy and possesses broad commercial technical and management experience.

Before joining Chameleon Net, Chris was a senior pre-sales consultant at a global tier 1 Internet Service Provider.

Prior to this he was Group IT Manager for Virgin, responsible for implementing IT services worldwide, including setting up the complete IT infrastructure for for Virgin's new music group, V2.

Chris has also gained experience at Disney's European Headquarters, Ratner's head office and the Archer Group, a Lloyd's underwriting syndicate. Chris holds an honours degree in Computer Science from Brighton University.

Carl Edwards - CTO

Carl Edwards

Carl was Chameleon's first employee back in 1998 and has 11 years of industry experience.

Carl runs Chameleon's web development team and is the chief software architect on many of our high profile projects.

His extensive knowledge in all areas of software development and IT infrastructure fuel the continued advancement of our development techniques and our technology direction.

Carl is an advocate of lifelong learning, holding a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, as well as a BA in Politics, Philosophy and History and an MA in Cultural and Critical Studies from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Dan Martin - Sales & Marketing Director

Dan Martin

Dan joined Chameleon Net in 2003 and brings over 9 years' experience of marketing web technology to the team. Dan is responsible for Chameleon's business development activity, and also consults on usability and online marketing for clients.

Before Chameleon Net, Dan worked at web networking company BTN as part of a team bringing cutting edge US technologies to the UK market, such as web caching and web server load balancing.

Prior to BTN, Dan gained invaluable agency experience at Hi-Tech Marketing, working on campaigns for clients such as Racal Telecom and Star Internet. Dan holds a degree in History from the University of York.

Daryl Irvine - Creative Director

Daryl Irvine

Daryl joined Chameleon Net as Creative Director at the beginning of 2006.

He is a dynamic New Zealand-born Australian with over 9 years' experience delivering inventive, highly polished solutions for his clients. Since joining Chameleon he has worked on design projects for 3M, e-Skills UK, McAfee, and UNICEF.

Before working with Chameleon, Daryl spent 5 years as Creative Director for Future First Technologies, a web agency specialising in solutions for the public sector and social enterprise. His clients included Social Enterprise London, London Remade, Coventry City Council and Gateway to Industry.

Daryl writes and records with his band crazy6 in his spare time and his current album release can even be found on iTunes.

Ken Baynton - Non-Executive Director

Ken joined Chameleon Net as a Non-Executive Director in 2003, having met Vicky Reeves & Chris Thorn on a number of occasions while running his previous company BTN.

He has over 30 years experience in the technology sector with companies like Marconi, Racal and Micom, and latterly saw major success with his own company, Berkshire-based networking specialist BTN, which was acquired by Cable & Wireless in 2000.
