About our company
Chameleon Net is a web solutions company based in Smithfield in central London.
The company was established in 1998 to help organisations that needed a partner with the technical capability, business acumen and professionalism to deliver web solutions.
We have grown steadily to a point where we now have 30 staff and dozens of clients across many industry sectors. They rely on Chameleon Net's combination of innovation, experience and reliability to provide ongoing development, hosting and support for their web strategy.
What makes us different is a unique approach to web projects. By combining a series of established processes we can understand an organisation's overall goals, aims of the online brand, functional requirements of a site, and recommend a technical direction.
As a result we deliver highly individual work that completely fits the project requirements and provides a platform for growth.
Background
Chameleon Net was founded by Vicky Reeves, our Managing Director, in 1998.
Having pursued a career in IT after completing her degree in Computer Science, Vicky had become acutely aware of the disparity that often occurred when several companies worked on the same technical project.
Chameleon Net was founded to solve this problem - one specialist company delivering all the necessary skills to take web projects from beginning to end, and beyond, with ongoing hosting & support.
Soon after, Chris Thorn joined the company as Operations Director. Chris and Vicky had met previously when working on projects together, and both shared the same vision of personal, professional and comprehensive service.
Vicky and Chris continue to form the foundation of Chameleon Net today as hands-on directors of the company. For more about them read our director profiles.
